Basic (A1-A2)
Here everything begins. Which are the main language tools and, mainly, those you use on your daily life and at work? It gets easier when the learner is on "immersion", it means when he or she is surrounded by portuguese speakers, according to the learner's rhythm.
Optional: how is living in São Paulo city? To go shopping, transportation, to have fun, to go to the movies etc. The initical surviving guide of the city.
Intermediate (B1-B2)
When your language domain needs to get more substantial, you become intermediate. Here you will learn all the grammar base of the idiom, essentital ones for you to speak in all the situations without problems. You deal with deeper subjects, such as accentuation, subjunctive mood verbs and so on.
Optional: to find yourself at São Paulo city. The metropolis offers everything to every kind of person 24 hours a day, but you need to find yourself so you don't feel lost. Which are your hobbies, what you like to do on your free time, do you prefer theater or cinema, classic or popular music? The city has options to all tastes, you just need to discover yourseld and it will be the first step to know new friends that share the same interests.
Advanced + Conversation (C1-C2)
In this level you will improve your knowledge in brazilian portuguese and acquire fluence, besides you will get to know a more refined vocabulary to write and speak formally.
Optional: the surroundings of the city. Leisure options for you and your family scape on weekends from the metropolis, or even find your oasis inside the city. Hotel for a day, water parks, amusement park, spa for a day, physical activities etc.
Intermediate and advanced levels do include preparation to the exam CELPE-BRAS, in case it is a learner's necessity.
About the teacher:
Karina Vernizzi is currently living in São Paulo, back of a year living abroad and teaching Brazilian Portuguese for foreigners. The economic increasing of Brazil brought her and her work back. Fluent in english and italian, brazilian portuguese is her mothertongue. Graduated in Linguistics, she studied the basis for acquisition of a second language and now she is intending to study this also in a Masters.
